Preamble and contact information
The abbreviation "DSGVO" is the German name for "GDPR". Please regard these two abbreviations as interchangeable.
If you use this website, various pieces of personal data will be gathered. Read this page to find out what information we gather, how we do that, for what purpose this happens, and what we use the data for. Personal information is any data with which you could be personally identified.
Please note that any data transferred via the internet (for example via e-mail communication) may be subject to security breaches. A full/complete protection of your data from third-party access isn't possible.
Information, deletion, blocking
As permitted by law, you have certain rights. At any time you have the right to be provided with information about any of your personal data that is stored. This includes its origin, the recipient and the purpose for which it has been processed. This information is free of charge. You also have the right to have this data blocked, deleted, or corrected. Please use the address given in our legal notice (see above) if you have further questions regarding your personal data. Any mandatory statutory provisions, especially those regarding mandatory data retention periods, remain unaffected by this provision.
Abrogation of your consent to the processing of your data
Many data processing tasks are only possible with your consent. You may revoke your consent with future effect at any time. It is sufficient to make an informal email request. The data processed before arrival of your request may still be legally processed.
The right to file complaints with regulatory authorities
If an infringement of data protection legislation happens, the person affected can file a complaint with the responsible regulatory authorities. The responsible regulatory authority for issues related to data protection legislation is the data protection officer of the German state in which Robert Peres Consulting LLC is headquartered. The right to data portability
You have the right to have data (which we process based on your consent or in fulfillment of a contract) automatically delivered to yourself or to a third party. The data gets delivered in a standard, machine-readable format. If you need the direct transfer of your data to another party, this will only be done as technically feasible.
SSL or TLS encryption
This site uses encryption for security reasons and also for the protection of the transfer of confidential content (e.g. inquiries you send to us). The encrpytion is based on SSL or TLS. You can recognize such an encrypted connection in the address line of your browser. It will change from “http://” to “https://” then and the lock icon is displayed in the address bar.
When SSL or TLS encryption is active, the transmitted data cannot be read by third parties.
Server log files
Our website provider automatically stores and collects information that your browser transmits to us in so called "server log files". The information contains:
- Browser type and browser version
- Referrer URL
- Host name of the accessing computer
- Operating system
- Time of the server request

This information will not be combined with data from other sources.
The basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (b) DSGVO. It allows the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for measures preliminary to a contract.
Should you send us questions via email, we will collect this data. This includes the contact details you provide. We use this data to answer your question and for any follow-up questions. We do not share this information without your explicit permission.
This means that we will process any data with your consent per Art. 6 (1)(a) DSGVO. Your rights as outlined in "Information, deletion, blocking" apply.
